Malaria was formed in 2006 with the intention of creating some devastating oldschool grindcore in the vein of (old) Carcass, Bolt Thrower and Repulsion, but also drawing influences from other extreme bands like Sadistik Exekution, basing the overall attack on themes of warfare, disease, gore, disgust and the brutal iron future. Several shows were played in 2007 at the infamous HELL HOUSE in support of WORSHIP SATAN ZINE and SKULL FUCKING DISTRO alongside local black/death bands PRURIENCY, NUCLEARHAMMER and WARLOCK MOON. The "Massgraves" demo cassette was then recorded and released by Poison Mist Propaganda (PMP002) in 50 copies, 25 yellow, 25 green (available now!).

Malaria is also a big "fuck you" to the pathetic Toronto scene and all the faggots that infest it, particularly the generic bore-"grind" and other "metal" circles that lack extremity in their music. WE HATE YOU!!!
